I found myself wondering,
Does your wife know,
What it's like,
To sit by the phone,
Waiting,
Just to hear your voice,
Beneath her perfect shell,
Does she too,
Wear the evidence of your love,
The welts,
The bruises,
The scars,
Is her heart pained,
When your in my bed,
Does she know the real you,
Or is that reserved for me,
Does she get the fantasy,
The house,
The kids,
The white picket fence,
Does she know it's all a facade,
I found myself wondering,
Does she know my pain?
