Maiden, Mother, Crone

The Maiden's story is about beginnings,
Seen in the Waxing Crescent Moon,
Feel her creative forces,
Like spring's perfumed flowers,
Witch hazel, hellebore, pussy willow,
Her purpose is attraction,
Dancing with wild abandon,
She gathers the stuff of life,
Big dreams, bold ideas, intense desires,
If something new is calling you,
A project, an idea, a relationship,
Honor the seeds within you,
Dance with the Maiden.

The Mother's story is about fulfillment,
Seen in the Full Moon,
Feel her creative act,
Sensual, sexual, fertile, strong,
She's the one who weaves,
Ideas, dreams, desires,
Then births something tangible,
Feeds and protects the object of her devotion,
An idea, a project, a cause, a story,
If you've birthed a creation,
Give it time, tender loving care,
Find a rocking chair, feel the rhythm,
Nurture with the Mother.

The Crone's stories are about endings,
Seen in the Waning Moon,
Her dark outline an empty womb,
She knows that death is only a change,
Beyond death is life in a new form,
She leads those on that path,
And comforts those left behind,
If you know, sense, feel,
It's time to move on,
With a project, a job, a relationship,
Be bold, cut the cord, feel the grief, walk away,
It helps to remember,
The Crone transforms into the Maiden.

Every Maiden isn't young,
Every Mother doesn't have a child,
Every Crone isn't old,
Which Goddess are you?
