To My Husband

I spend each day anxiously awaiting,
That moment when we first crawl into bed,
Our bodies make contact, all our clothes shed,
Your hands up and down my curves, caressing,
Every spot you touch and kiss elating,
Tingling excitement in me widespread,
Feminine needs of my heart and soul fed,
During sleepy hours of cuddling.

Our two paths made one, is where we belong,
Your hands is where my heart wants to reside,
You are my husband, my lover, my friend,
Through good times and bad, together lifelong,
Our souls, meant to be, never to be pried,
From the beginning of time, to the end.
