Looking for the silver lining,
Somewhere in my soul,
I know it's there bright and shining,
Hid away in my black hole.
Life ain't so bad as a whole,
But it's so hard to see the good,
When my emotions have no flood control,
And all I am is misunderstood.
I try to act the way I should,
But normality escapes me,
If I could change my ways I would,
And live a life of gaiety.
From my demons I cannot flee,
'Cus they all exist within me,
But a bright future I can foresee,
If I can embrace my insanity.
