Cirque du Macabre

Come one, come all, if you dare,
Cirque du Macabre is about to begin,
Those with weak hearts and stomachs beware,
Of the spectacles to be viewed within.

Every seat is filled with a curious face,
Time to turn the lights down low,
So many marks in one place,
Time to begin the show.

We have fire eaters, sword swallowers,
Freaks and geeks and more,
Contortionists, tight rope walkers,
We have quite the show in store.

First I would like to present,
Blythe the hypnotist clown,
A more wicked soul you've never met,
Peer into her soul chilling frown.

Watch closely as her umbrella spins,
Your body is relaxing, heavy are your eyes,
In your slumber is our opportunity, everybody wins,
We'll be long gone before you get wise.

Take no notice of the stealthy hands,
Lifting your jewelry and cash,
Stay mesmerized by her act from the stands,
While we add to our growing stash.

Quickly everyone back to your station,
The audience is about to awaken,
The show must go on without interruption,
So they don't notice what we've taken.

Ladies and gents, I hope you've enjoyed the show,
You've been a great crowd, better than you know.
